idk you guys i am really invested in the reunification arc (or rather, the shared history between romulans and vulcans and communication between these two cultures!) and last time we saw spock prime he was wanted as a fugitive on romulus and hiding in caves and shit and his “followers” were just these… renegade romulan 23rd century equivalent of peasants and then twenty years later he apparently wields enough influence to be able to fund this red matter project and promise to save romulus! so augh clearly there was progress but then
