Anonymous : Actually Romulus was only destroyed in the Nero from the future's time dimension. In the timeline of the JJ Abrams movies, Romulus still exists, so not all is lost! And to think optimistically even further, the dimension of the old Spock still has a non-destroyed Vulcan! So really, no harm has been done, if you think about it non-dimensionally!
