Okay but you gotta admit this is one of the more acceptable Tumblr trends and it is a good successor to four squares so I plan on using it in moderate doses until the people who really, really don’t know how to Photoshop abuse it ‘cause like, there are screencaps that I enjoy (this one, for instance!) that are not exactly “graphics-friendly” because maybe the cropping is awkward or only half of it is nice or it’s lacking negative space or something but now I can just zoom in a little bit and it looks so ~indie~ and gr9
