Has there ever been a Star Trek fanfic or novel set in the “Unification” era where some supporters of the movement eventually question its goal because they want peace within the Empire but they don’t necessarily want to, y’know, go Vulcan and follow Surak’s teachings
Preferably one featuring my favourite Nameless Romulan having sexy times with Spock somehow despite not really being sympathetic to the reunification cause (because she is a patriot? Or something? And she hates the current state of her government so she sees some value in that movement but mostly she wants the Empire to move forward and to her moving forward doesn’t necessarily mean suddenly sharing her toys with the Vulcans just because they happened to swim in the same gene pool thousands of years ago?)

Uh, this started out as a graphic for the colour meme (the much requested Romulan Commander/magenta I know y’all are just humouring me but) but halfway through it I realized that the dimensions make it look like a poster, and then I also realized that the style makes it look like some saccharine indie film. So not only am I fulfilling like, ten requests, I’m doing the colour meme, the poster remake meme and the genre swap meme at the same time and am basically hitting an entire flock of birds with one stone. Yeah.
